You have several choices in how you decide to customize
your home. They all involve the same process.
First,
you will discuss the type of home you want to build. Consider
the number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
Decide how much
room you need in your kitchen, family room, and other key
living areas of the house. Consider the interior traffic
flow. Decide on the type of home layout you prefer: ranch,
cape, two story, contemporary, or a blend of styles.
Next, go through our line of standard plans. Mark up
changes to the plan to meet the needs you decided on above.
Your CAD operator will send it to the factory for
architectural redrawing.
Take another look at the plan; make more changes, if
needed; and it will get sent back again. Pretty quickly you
will have the layout of your dream home complete.
If
none of our standard plans are close to what you want, that’s okay.
Sketch out your thoughts. Just like before, your CAD operator
will send the design to the factory.
It will then be reviewed by the architect. If changes need
to be made to meet building codes or structural requirements,
you will see them on the drawing. Again, make any other
changes from here, and we will go through the cycle again. We
will then have enough information to give you a preliminary
price.
Now it’s time to start specifying upgrades. We have some
examples of the many, many options and upgrades to offer.
While it is impossible to be everything to everybody, we
believe we have chosen a range of options to meet most needs.
If you come across an item you just have to have, and we
don’t offer it, it may be possible to have that option
installed locally. That’s just one more advantage of Rycon.
